Black Forest Muffins or Cupcakes

"These muffins are just incredible.  My husband, who doesn't even like cherries, said this is the best muffin I've ever made.  It was so good that the second time I made these (since I had the other half can of cherry pie filling left over), I made a more 'adult' cupcake (see below).

"For the black forest muffins, mix together 1-1/2 cups nonfat milk, 1 cup plain fat free yogurt, 1 teaspoon almond extract, and 1-3/4 cups Splenda.  Add to Southaven Farm Chocolate Baking Mix.  Stir to combine and then gently blend in 1 cup sugar free cherry pie filling (just like in the Cherry Pie Muffins).  Put in pam-sprayed muffin tins (makes 12 HUGE muffins) and bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes.  Let cool in tin for 10 minutes and then remove and place on a rack to cool. 

"For the black forest 'adult' cupcakes, mix together 1-1/4 cups nonfat milk, 1 cup plain fat free yogurt, 1/4 cup kirsch (cherry flavored liquer), and 1-3/4 cups Splenda.  Add to Southaven Farm Chocolate Baking Mix and continue with directions above.

"Whichever way you make them, you'll be in heaven.  These are divine!!  Thank you for making these wonderful wonderful wonderful mixes!!!"
