Chocolate Peanut Butter Surprise Muffins

"All I can say is OH....MY....GOODNESS.  These muffins are indescribably delicious.  I just made the Southaven Farm chocolate muffins according to your package directions, using nonfat milk, nonfat yogurt, vanilla, and splenda.  Then I took half the batter and spooned it into 12 pam-sprayed muffin cups.  (I used about 2 tablespoons batter per muffin.)  After that, I gently placed 1 teaspoon natural peanut butter on top of the batter and then I took the remaining batter and put that on top of the peanut butter.  In essence, I 'sandwiched' the peanut butter, kind of like those chocolate cupcakes you used to buy that had the white filling in the center!  I baked them at 425 degrees for 13 minutes, then let them cool in the muffin pan for 5 minutes, and then took them out and put them on a rack.  It was hard to wait for them to cool long enough to eat them but oh my, was it ever worth it.  What a fabulous treat."
